THERAPY

I have a graduate degree in Clinical & Counseling Psychology, focused in Marriage & Family Therapy. As an MFT, I view things systemically. No one person is an island unto themselves, and your background matters. We will consider the intersections of your experiences across societal, familial, cultural, & political constructs — especially those under which you have been oppressed or marginalized. Expanding on principles of uncertainty & the unconscious mind within daily life, I am also pleased to offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) sessions.

YOGA & ENERGY WORK

My arrival “on the mat” began in 2008. Following years of self-practice, I earned both 200- & 300-hour certifications in the Vinyasa tradition. Witnessing how the practice in body, breath & philosophy supported myself and clients in wholehearted ways, I also completed a 300-hour program in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga. This methodology is focused on one’s internal, felt experience, and was developed to complement therapeutic treatment of complex trauma.

Body-first and Energy-based practices strengthen neurological awareness and the fundamental need for relational safety. As a support to talk therapy I integrate such modalities and approaches (Brainspotting, Polyvagal theory, the Hakomi method, Reiki) that can access deeper parts of the brain and subtle body to enhance your healing.
