Therapy

providing therapy virtually (PA & NJ) as well as in-person in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania.

WHY THERAPY?

I believe in the power of self-talk and how it shapes our being-ness in the world.

Early on in life, we generate stories of ourselves. These narratives build a frame of self-worth, how we connect to others, and cope with conflict. In times of disruption, it can be hard to understand their impact. By working with a therapist, you can increase awareness of your own patterns, and more clearly identify desired hopes & boundaries within your relationships.

A SHARED APPROACH
Sessions are intended for collaboration.

I believe that you are the expert of your own life. And, part of my role is to offer space for all parts of you (including those which feel vulnerable to share) to be witnessed fully, without judgment. Together, we’ll explore how intersectional forces (e.g. family history, society & culture) influence your personal story.

We can incorporate body-based & mindfulness strategies — somatic modalities such as Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Brainspotting, Reiki, & Polyvagal theory. Such resources can strengthen attunement to your internal sensations & emotions, and help you better understand your nervous system.

WHO I SERVE
I work with adults
& couples.

Most people I serve struggle with anxiety or stress, and wish to create a better balance among life’s many transitions. ‘Living with Uncertainty’ is a concept we will likely explore. Others I see are navigating various effects of trauma (including nervous system dysregulation or relationship disharmony). As a parent myself, I enjoy collaborating with caregivers of all stages.

RELATIONSHIP SUPPORT
Couples counseling can strengthen your unique and shared dreams.

Taking time to extend Curiosity in daily life isn’t easy. Use of intentional and mindful communication allows each person to feel seen, heard, and appreciated. As relationships evolve (cohabitation, marriage, child-rearing, retirement, etc), individual goals change, and so must those of the system.

If you are feeling stuck or unsure – I hope that you will join me.  You are not alone.
You can move beyond insight into action, and toward peace.
